Hurricane Armor was designed by an expert with over 25 years of experience directing property operations for a global hotel chain. Recognizing a gap in the preventative maintenance market, he decided to create a solution to a problem he had faced hundreds of times before.

When a hurricane hits, driving rain and extreme wind force water through the permanently open exterior end of your PTAC unit and into your guest rooms, offices and storage areas. The goal of Hurricane Armor is to reduce these repeated repair costs and mitigate high insurance deductibles by preventing hurricane damage.

Hurricane Armor is a 0.5-millimeter thick waterproof, polyethylene cover designed to fit over your PTAC unit. ​
What holds Hurricane Armor in place?
Hurricane Armor is secured by a 1-inch ratchet strap that goes around the PTAC sleeve.
